Tiziana Gentili-Nenning was born 1960 in Verona /Italy,
where she spent her childhood and youth developing a pronounced
love for literature and foreign languages. At 20 years old she moved to
Germany, where in Munich she deepened her German knowledge at the
university and worked afterwards as a multilingual secretary.
After 10 years professional experience in Munich and Radolfzell on the
Lake of Constance, she dedicated herself to her new task in life as a mother.

In her spare time she began to write poems and children's stories.
Her wealth of experience in dealing with children during her youth,
as a scout leader with the "Cubs" is of great importance for her
current activity as a children's book author.

One of her goals is it to enable children to appreciate the joy of their
own language by encouraging them to read more. For the last couple
of years she has been offering numerous readings for children.

In addition she undertakes translation work and also gives tuition
in Italian. She now spends her leisure time writing further
children's stories, narrations and poems.

Her second children's book "Max, the Little Hamster from Town" was published in 2009.
"Niki, the Little Marsh Turtle" was first published as a picture book in 2002,
and in 2004 and 2008 as an audio CD with joyful children's songs.
The 2nd edition was published in 2023.
